When people say “Black women are the most educated,” they’re usually referencing within-group data, not comparisons across all race and gender groups. It’s so important to understand how statistics work, because misunderstanding them can distract us from the real issues: wage gaps, burnout, being underpaid, and being overlooked. And just to be clear, this isn’t about effort.
