When it comes to toddlers who are still not sleeping through the night, I start by asking parents how they might be unintentionally reinforcing those wake ups. My method of gentle & responsive sleep training is totally possible with toddlers, but it’s mainly about everything you do leading up to sleep & preparing them mentally than what you do when you actually lay them down, although that’s important too.
